Job summary

Ammega is seeking a detail-oriented Shipper & Receiver in Buford, GA to manage daily receipts and shipments. You will label, pack, and transfer inventory, operate a forklift, and ensure accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include processing orders via USPS/UPS/FedEx, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Must lift up to 50 lbs and be able to work in the US.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience in retail or e-commerce.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing dynamics.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Solid basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to be trained/certified on powered industrial truck (P.I.T.).
• Understand stock locator system.
• Must be able to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Receive and ship daily; manage packing, labeling and inventory transfers.
• Operate forklift and follow safety rules as per policy.
• Print daily sales receipts and verify accuracy with software.
• Prepare and print shipping labels and assemble shipments.
• Affix postage and prepare packages for shipment.
• Track inventory and report shortages to the sales team.
• Process orders using buyer’s preferred shipping methods (USPS/UPS/FedEx).
• Coordinate with carrier and schedule shipping for each package.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and update supplies as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
