Job summary

NewView Oklahoma is seeking a Material Handler in Annapolis Junction, MD to support BrightKey, Inc. at an off-site facility. You will receive mail and packages, log items, and manage pallet movements to ensure timely delivery by 3:00 p.m. ET each day.

Role requires attention to detail, ability to follow security procedures, and willingness to operate in a VBE environment with assistive tech if needed. A background check and training are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
• Previous warehouse/mailroom/shipping experience preferred.
• Ability to use handheld scanner and tracking software with assistive tech as needed.
• Follow written/verbal procedures in a security-sensitive environment.
• Background check and drug screening required after conditional offer.
• Legally blind or low vision strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Receive mail, packages, and freight; log items into custody tracking system.
• Break down and inventory pallets; track contents accurately.
• Move and stage pallets using hand trucks/pallet jacks.
• Load/unload items onto x-ray equipment as directed.
• Prepare freight for screening and delivery to USDA couriers by 3:00 p.m. ET.
• Maintain chain of custody and prepare custody docs when requested.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow SOPs.
