Job summary

Specialty Building Products, a leading distributor of specialty building products in North America, is seeking a 2nd Shift - Material Handler. The role involves receiving, storing, and distributing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining records in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications include 1 year of related experience, forklift experience preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

U.S. Lumber, an SBP Brand, is currently looking for a 2nd Shift - Material Handler to join our VALUES based organization. Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities And Essential Functions

• Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
• Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges.
• Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift.
• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
• Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines.

3:30 pm- last truck loaded. (no definitive end time)

$23/Hr. Starting Pay Rate
