Job summary

Goodwill Industries of South Florida in Miami is seeking a Material Handler to ensure the safe, efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, pack labels, palletize items, and verify shipping/receiving information while recording inventories.

This role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items, with attention to detail. A warehouse background is helpful, and you will join a community-focused team in a on-site facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Experience in warehousing or shipping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Pack labels and palletize materials as needed.
• Load/unload from carriers and verify shipping/receiving information.
• Record inventory as required.
• Distribute contract work to sites as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• May dispense contract work to individual work sites.
• Performs other activities as requested.
