Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Wayne & Holmes Counties is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support production and logistics operations. The role requires operating pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and tow motors, with emphasis on safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include setting up workstations, moving materials to production areas, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining clean, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience driving a manual transmission truck.
• Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations as directed by Production Coordinator or Supervisor.
• Move production materials to workstations and transport products to weigh scales or storage.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Operate tow motors throughout the shift.
• Prepare skids, label pallets, and operate stretch wrap machine.
• Load and operate cardboard baling machine.
• Keep production areas orderly and free of excess materials.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
