Job Details

Shift: C Shift; Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat 5am - 3:30pm

Pay: $19 - $20/hr

Job Purpose

Operate forklifts safely and efficiently; handle freight inbound/outbound properly; maintain warehouse order; load/unload trucks and trailers safely; ensure shipments are staged, checked, and loaded correctly; store stock properly; perform warehouse shipping and receiving duties; work from operations sheets using forklifts; maintain forklift safety and follow policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist Warehouse Manager for efficient warehouse operation.
• Operate sit-down forklifts and/or EPJs.
• Use computers and RF equipment.
• Load/unload trucks safely and efficiently, including outside carriers.
• Work flexible hours, including 10-12 hour shifts, and work at heights.
• Pick and move stock weighing 1-50 lbs.
• Ensure proper staging and loading of shipments.
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.
• Process outbound freight and store stock properly.
• Record and verify shipment accuracy.
• Complete all safety and operational documentation.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and maintenance.
• Handle customer products properly, check deliveries, and report issues.
• Spot trailers and maintain dock access.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

• Work with urgency, accountability, and minimal supervision.
• Read, write, and understand English.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility for overtime and shift coverage.
• Experience with sit-down forklifts/EPJs, pallet building, and cross-docking.
