Job summary

Life-Assist, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join a growing team in Lenexa, KS. You will put away received products, verify serials and lots, and ensure quality and accuracy of arrivals.

The role requires forklift experience and ability to use RF scanners, with safety and organization at the core. You will work in a fast-paced environment, communicating with the Purchasing Department to resolve stock discrepancies and prepare items for picking.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Three years warehouse experience and/or training preferred.
• Three years forklift experience required.
• Ability to obtain CA Designated Representative Certification.

Responsibilities

• Put away and replenish - receiving incoming product into the warehouse.
• Record accurate serial, lot, expiration information on applicable products.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and authenticity of incoming product.
• Solve stock discrepancies with Purchasing Department for inbond product.
• Associate product barcodes and label stock accordingly.
• Prepare products for picking and move to correct storage locations.
• Use RF scanner to receive inventory and scan products to/from shelves.
• Operate forklift and other warehouse tools as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Do

• Put away and replenish - processes and receives incoming product into the warehouse
• Records accurate serial, lot, expiration information on applicable products
• Ensures quality, accuracy, and authenticity of incoming product
• Documents and works with Purchasing Department to solve stock discrepancies on inbond product
• Associates product barcodes, and labels stock appropriately
• Makes any necessary preparations for products to be ready to pick
• Moves product from the receiving dock to appropriate storage locations in the warehouse as necessary
• Uses RF scanner to receive inventory and scan products to/from shelves
• May be assigned and trained in customer returns
• Operates forklift, carts, pallet jacks, tape guns, box openers, and other warehouse tools as necessary
• Operates baler and prepares bales for transport
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• All other duties assigned
