Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Material Handler - Receiving to safely load, unload and move materials within the district, service center, yard, or work site.

The role supports order filling, cycle counts and RFID operations with an emphasis on accuracy and safety. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of related experience, be able to obtain forklift certification within 30 days, and operate a handheld inventory scanner.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year related experience and/or training.
• Must be able to become forklift certified within 30 days.
• Must be able to effectively operate hand-held scanner (inventory transaction device) within 30 days.
• Ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings.

Responsibilities

• Fill orders and process, store, pick parts, materials, equipment for domestic and international orders.
• Assist with new orders, cycle counts and RFID operations.
• Read and understand SOPs and Risk Assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory control.
