Job summary

Caterpillar is hiring a Material Handler - Picker to safely load, unload, and move materials at the Northlink shipping site. You will manage inventory, read orders, and ensure accurate records while maintaining a safe, organized work area.

The role requires 1+ year of related experience, forklift certification within 30 days, and proficiency with handheld scanners and reading dimensional drawings. Training for RFID and SOP adherence is included in onboarding.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year related experience and/or training.
• Must obtain forklift certification within 30 days.
• Must operate handheld scanner within 30 days.
• Ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings.
• Ability to mark products with identification tools.

Responsibilities

• Unload, stock and inventory all deliveries.
• Assist with new orders, cycle counts and RFID operations.
• Read and understand SOPs and risk assessments.
• Understand inventory control processes.
• Display equipment and product understanding.
• Read work orders and follow verbal instructions.
• Count, weigh, tag, palletize and record material movements.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and equipment.
• Operate industrial truck or hoist to move materials.
• Support a culture focused on a safe, accident-free workplace.
