Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Material Handler - Receiving in Fort Worth, TX. You will unload, stock and inventory deliveries, read work orders, and assist with RFID operations.

The role requires forklift certification within 30 days and ability to operate handheld scanners. You’ll work 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM and earn $19.85 per hour with benefits. Formación

What you will do

• - Unload, stock and inventory all deliveries
• - Assist with new orders, cycle counts and RFID operations
• - Read and understand SOPs and Risk Assessments
• - Ability to understand Inventory Control Process
• - Exhibits equipment and product understanding
• - Ability to read work orders and follow verbal instruction
• - Counts, weighs, secures, tags, palettize and stacks materials and maintains accurate records of material movement
• - Maintains work area, machines, and equipment
• - Operates and inspects industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products
• - Assists in developing a culture that works to achieve and maintain an accident-free workplace
• - Performs other job duties as assigned

What you will have

• - Minimum of one years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• - Must be able to become forklift certified within 30 days
• - Must be able to effectively operate hand-held scanner (inventory transaction device) within 30 days
• - Ability to use identification tools (engraver, metal stamps, paint pen) to mark product
• - Ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings

Physical Demands

• - Occasionally lift parts up to 35 pounds individually or 50 pound as team lift
• - Occasional bending, reaching and squatting while performing tasks
• - Consistent usage of required PPE for task being performed
• - Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures
• - Standing and/or sitting at a desk while performing tasks

Summary Pay Range

$19.85 - $26.55
