Job summary

Knape & Vogt Manufacturing Company is seeking an experienced Hi-Lo driver for our distribution team. The role operates on 1st shift (7:00am-3:00pm) with an hourly rate of $19.25, offering competitive pay and robust benefits in Grand Rapids, MI.

Qualifications

• 2 years of forklift driving experience
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
• RF Scanner experience or willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment
• English language proficiency

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks using a stand-up or sit-down forklift and picker
• Take inventory of products and verify quantity and quality of order against purchase order
• Perform quality checks on items for damage
• Document orders and transactions
• Conduct RF-based inventory transactions
• Rotate, store, and package materials/items
• Pick and label orders for shipment to KV manufacturing facility
• Request assistance for items heavier than 50 lbs
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Monitor safety and mechanical aspects of forklift and picker equipment

What Will You Get To Do:

What Will You Bring:

• 2 years of recent forklift driving experience, valid driver's license, and safe driving record
• High school diploma or GED
• Computer and RF Scanner experience or ability and willingness to learn
• Ability to efficiently work in a high paced environment
• Speak, read, write, and understand basic English
