Job summary

Brady Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented material handler to support operations at our Louisville, KY plant. The role requires reach-truck experience along with forklift operation and safe handling of materials.

You will maintain inventory, follow strict work instructions, and record data in SAP while collaborating with a cross-functional team. The position may require night shifts, weekends, and overtime to ensure continuous workflow.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year minimum reach-truck experience.
• Ability to lift steel shafts up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and overtime.
• Must obtain a license to drive lift trucks.
• Read and follow written work instructions.
• Record data for entry in the SAP system.
• Safely transfer flammable and hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Material prep and inventory management.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ensure safe working conditions in the department.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Complete paperwork, labeling, packaging and material transactions.
• Follow detailed written specifications.
• Record data for SAP entry.
• Maintain general housekeeping and safety in the department.
• Perform in-process inspections.
• Transport materials between work centers and warehouse.
