The Role:

Material Handler - PT Weekends in Shenandoah, VA. You will operate forklifts, seek process improvements, enhance customer satisfaction, and load quality products. Shifts are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, 6:48am-7:00pm for Day Shift or 6:48pm-7:00am for Night Shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Accurately and efficiently fill orders using the inventory system.
  2. Maintain accurate documentation and records.
  3. Operate forklifts to move materials and finished products.
  4. Perform daily forklift checklists at each shift start.
  5. Check and change batteries as needed using a hydrometer.
  6. Load and unload products from trucks, railcars, and warehouses.
  7. Manage stretch wrapping machines multiple times daily.
  8. Move and sort pallets.
  9. Utilize RF units and SAP system.
  10. Maintain a safe and clean workplace through housekeeping.
  11. Coordinate with maintenance and other teams.
  12. Assist management with process improvements.
  13. Prioritize safety and quality in all tasks.
  14. Adhere to schedules and make informed decisions on shift.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift license.
  • Knowledge of RF devices and inventory systems.
  • 1-3 years warehouse experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and make decisions collaboratively.
  • Availability for full-time work, including weekends and holidays.
  • Flexibility for emergency calls and overtime.
  • Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in loud environments.
