Job summary

Polytainers, a leading North American packaging manufacturer, is seeking a Material Handler for the Printing department. The role involves delivering packing supplies to the Printing floor, and transporting boxed printed products to the Warehouse. The candidate should be fluent in English with good verbal and written communication, and have a High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience with electric hand trucks is a plus. This is a first shift with potential transition to Continental Days.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience handling an electric hand truck is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packing supplies to the Printing production floor from the Warehouse.
• Deliver boxed, printed product on skids to the Warehouse.
• Wrap and secure skids per packing specifications.
• Create Pallet ID for all skids of products produced.
• Perform daily checks on the pallet truck and report issues to supervisor.
• Replenish feeding/packing supplies at scheduled machines and sign off line clearance sheet.
• Maintain records of pallet IDs and traceability materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
