Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) is seeking a Material Handler for its Tucson, AZ plant. The role involves moving materials and finished products using forklifts and conveyers, under SOPs, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

You will assist with labeling, records, and cross-functional teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year warehouse experience, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience or related training.
• Forklift certification.
• Obtain/maintain required licenses/certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Move materials, parts, and finished products within the Tucson plant per SOP.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in shipping and receiving areas.
• May maintain records as required.
• Attach correct labels to products before storing or processing.
• Develop skills in basic tasks within one area or process.
• Follow clearly defined SOPs and quality guidelines.
• Notify Quality Rep and supervisor of quality issues.
• Maintain warehouse quality standards and report damage.
• Work safely per warehouse regulations.
• Coordinate work with teammates and reflect company values.
• Operate handheld radio frequency device or computer systems as needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Be available to rotate shifts based on operational needs.
