bioMérieux in Durham, NC is seeking a Material Handler to support receiving, picking, shipping, and inventory control within our manufacturing and packaging operations. This position emphasizes GMP compliance, accurate goods receipt, safe operation of material handling equipment, and data entry to maintain precise inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and deliver orders for direct materials used in Manufacturing and Packaging Lines.
• Process Stock Transfer Orders to Distribution Center.
• Move material to storage bins or staging areas with proper equipment following all SOPs.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and GMP compliance in shipping, receiving and warehouse operations.
• Accurately receive goods, verify items against shipment records, and inspect condition.
• Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment safely.
• Handle and maintain flow of materials in manufacturing areas per guidelines.
• Monitor warehouse space and support proper utilization.
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area; observe safe work habits.
• Include data entry, cycle counting, and forklift battery maintenance.
• Assess safety and environmental risks to comply with policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
