Job summary

Specialty Building Products (SBP) is seeking a Material Handler at our Winter Haven, FL Branch. You will perform receiving, moving, staging, and shipping of materials, supporting the pre-hanging/pre-finishing operation and helping keep production areas stocked and efficient.

You will ensure quality, assist with inventory accuracy, and adhere to safety guidelines while contributing to a team-focused, VALUES-based organization.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in material handling responsibilities in a production environment
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure

Responsibilities

• Receive, audit, inspect, ID and put away incoming material to proper locations
• Maintain housekeeping and organization in warehouse and other material location area
• Maintain correct inventories by moving materials in computer when physically moving materials
• Assist production areas when not moving materials
• Ensure the product and/or materials meet quality expectations
