A leading company in the injection molding sector is seeking a Material Handler to manage the unloading, movement, and storage of various materials. The role requires effective communication skills, knowledge of injection molding, and a valid forklift license. You'll ensure production materials are readily available while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace. Candidates with prior experience in material handling are encouraged to apply.
Responsible for unloading, moving, and storing a variety of materials, parts, and products. Fills orders from storage areas, warehouse stock, and delivers to designated departments.
Knowledge | Experience | Skills:
Must be able to read and speak English proficiently. General knowledge in injection molding. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer experience. Valid TM assigned forklift license required. Must have been in a Back Up Material Handler position for a minimum of 3 months.
• Ensures that raw material needed for production is ready and available at all times.
• Assists in the change over process.
• Responsible for unloading, cleaning, and reloading of material hoppers.
• Responsible for transporting material to and from production area and warehouse.
• Ensure that grinders, color feeders, and other related equipment is cleaned.
• Maintain appropriate documentation relating to material system.
• Perform daily color checks and document in color LDR book
• Clean and maintain loader system vacuum pumps, filters and mixer rooms.
• Document PM’s to equipment in Maximo
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Responsible for identifying and weighing raw materials.
• Other duties as assigned
• Maintain 100% class room training as required
