Job summary

Shape Corp. is seeking a Material Handling Operator to support manufacturing, production and shipping/receiving through PIT movement of materials. The role emphasizes safe operation, adherence to safety protocols, and participation in 5S initiatives.

Responsibilities include loading, stacking, inventory-related tasks, and assisting with scans and truck loading/unloading. The ideal candidate will maintain high safety standards and work as part of a team to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT).
• Safety-conscious with adherence to site rules and signage.
• Ability to handle inventory and 5S initiatives.
• Team oriented with willingness to participate in continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Powered Industrial Truck to move or load products, materials, etc. safely.
• Adhere to safety specifications including stacking heights, seat belt use, and speed limits.
• Maintain situational awareness to ensure safety of associates, products and equipment.
• Perform battery charging and changes safely per guidelines.
• Stack products/materials in various environments safely.
• Participate in 5S initiatives and facility requirements.
• Operate banding equipment as required.
• Perform Shipping/Receiving tasks including scanning and loading/unloading trucks.
