Job Description

AS A MATERIAL HANDLER, YOU WILL:

  • Pick and handle product for all highbay picks
  • Replenish all corrugate for departmental needs
  • Assist zone 48 in moving finished pallets from area.
  • Perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain clean work environment
  • Maintain safe actions on and off equipment in compliance with all safety rules/regulations required by Emerson, federal, state, and local provisions
  • Meet department quality, attendance, and productivity requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Should be hard-working and capable of working independently
  • Must have successfully completed and passed Emerson’s training on all required equipment which included but is not limited to; forklift, cherry picker, and tri-loader
  • Must be comfortable working at heights of 20 feet wearing fall protection gear
  • Must follow all Company Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Lift max of 35 lbs; tools available to assist with lifting and moving heavier items
  • Able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to use the Hand (RF) scanner effectively and efficiently

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

  • JDE knowledge
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
