Job description

Job Duties

Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages, documents, heavyweight freight, dangerous goods, and ULDs. Assists in the buildup and breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight. Acts as a liaison between the company and ULD repair vendors, as required. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. from ground to chest level without assistance and maneuver packages over 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and squat for designated work hours.
• Ability to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces, stacking packages above head if required.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and climb stairs or ladders if necessary.
• Successfully complete all basic and recurrent training.
• Effective communication skills in a noisy environment are required.

Job Conditions

This is a non-covered safety-sensitive position. A medical exam is required. Ability to work alertly and safely is essential. Valid driver's license required for operating motorized conveyances.

Pay Transparency

The estimated starting salary range for this role is $19.75/hour, which includes a $1/hour premium. Actual pay depends on experience, location, and other factors. Benefits include health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Additional Posting Information

AM shift: 4:00 AM - 8:30 AM; PM shift: 7:00 PM - Midnight. Days off will be determined.
