Material Handler - Part Time (Warehouse like)

Job Overview

Provide safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages, documents, heavyweight items, dangerous goods, and ULDs. Assist in building and breaking down pallets containing heavyweight freight. Serve as a liaison between the company and ULD repair vendors, as required. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: None required
• Experience: None required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from ground to chest level, and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and squat for designated work hours.
• Ability to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces, stacking packages above head if required.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and climb stairs or ladders if necessary.
• Ability to complete all required training successfully.
• Effective communication skills in noisy environments.

Job Conditions

• Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license to operate motorized conveyances.

Additional Information

Shift: Tuesday – Saturday, 4AM – 8:30AM.

Compensation: Salary range varies based on experience, location, and other factors. Eligible for benefits including health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
