Material Handler - Part Time (Warehouse like)

Job Duties

Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages, documents, heavyweight, dangerous goods, and ULDs. Assists in the buildup and breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight. Acts as liaison between the company and ULD repair vendor, as required. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from the ground to chest level and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Able to walk, stand, bend, and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces, stacking packages above head if required.
• Capable of working in all weather conditions and climbing stairs or ladders if necessary.
• Successfully complete all basic and recurrency training.
• Effective communication skills in a noisy environment.

Job Conditions

Non-covered safety-sensitive position; drug screening required. Must possess a valid driver's license to operate machinery. Ability to work alertly and safely at all times.

Pay Range

$17.89 per hour

Available Shifts

Monday: 3:10 AM - 7:30 AM

Tuesday-Friday: 5:30 AM - 9:30 AM

Saturday: 6:30 AM - 10:00 AM

Must have a valid driver’s license to operate machinery.
