Material Handler - Part Time (Warehouse like)

Job Duties

Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages, documents, heavyweight freight, dangerous goods, and ULDs. Assists in building and breaking down pallets containing heavyweight freight. Acts as a liaison between the company and ULD repair vendors, as required. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience

None required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Able to lift 50 lbs. from ground to chest level without assistance and maneuver packages over 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Capable of walking, standing, bending, squatting, and maneuvering packages in various conditions and locations, including enclosed spaces and above shoulder level.
• Able to work in all weather conditions, climb stairs and ladders if required, and complete all necessary training.
• Effective communication skills in a noisy environment.

Job Conditions

Non-covered safety sensitive position. Medical exam required. Valid driver's license required for operating motorized conveyances. Must work in a constant state of alertness and safety.

Additional Information

This role offers a salary range estimated based on location and experience. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, retirement plans, and tuition reimbursement. Work hours are Monday - Saturday, 4:30 am - 8:30 am.
