Material Handler - Part Time (Warehouse like)

Job Overview

Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages, documents, heavyweight items, dangerous goods, and ULDs. Assists in the buildup and breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight. Acts as a liaison between the company and ULD repair vendors, as required. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: None required
• Experience: None required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. from ground to chest level without assistance and maneuver packages above 50 lbs. with equipment or assistance.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, and maneuver packages in various conditions, including enclosed spaces and elevated stacking.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, climb stairs and ladders if needed, and complete all required training.
• Effective communication skills in noisy environments.

Job Conditions

• Non-safety sensitive position; medical exam required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license to operate motorized conveyances.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated pay: $17.89 per hour. Includes health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement. Pay depends on experience, location, and other factors.

Work Schedule

PM Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:30 PM – 1:30 AM.
