Job Overview

The role involves providing safe and efficient operation of equipment used for moving packages, documents, heavyweight items, dangerous goods, and ULDs. Responsibilities include assisting in the buildup and breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight, acting as a liaison with ULD repair vendors, and performing other assigned duties.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: None required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. from ground to chest level without assistance and maneuver packages of any weight with appropriate equipment or help.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, and maneuver packages in various conditions, including enclosed spaces and above shoulder level.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, climb stairs and ladders, and complete all required training.
• Effective communication skills in noisy environments.

Job Conditions

This is a non-covered safety-sensitive position requiring a medical exam. Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to work alertly and safely, especially when operating motorized conveyances.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting pay is $17.89 per hour plus a $2.00/hour premium. The shift is Tuesday through Saturday, 4:30 am to 8:30 am. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, retirement plans, and tuition reimbursement.
