Job Duties

Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages, documents, heavyweight freight, dangerous goods, and ULDs. Assists in the buildup and breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight. Acts as a liaison between the company and ULD repair vendors, as required. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Able to lift 50 lbs. from ground to chest level without assistance and maneuver packages over 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Capable of walking, standing, bending, and squatting for designated work hours.
• Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces, stacking packages above head if required.
• Able to work in all weather conditions and climb stairs and ladders as needed.
• Successfully complete all basic and re-currency training.
• Effective communication skills in noisy environments are required.

Job Conditions

This is a non-covered safety-sensitive position. A medical exam is required. Must possess a valid driver's license to operate motorized conveyances. Ability to work alertly and safely at all times.
