Material Handler - Part Time (Warehouse like)

Job Overview

This role involves the safe and efficient operation of equipment used for moving packages, documents, heavyweight freight, dangerous goods, and ULDs. Responsibilities include building and breaking down pallets containing heavyweight freight, serving as a liaison with ULD repair vendors, and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: None
• Experience: None

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance and maneuver packages above 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, and maneuver packages in various conditions, including enclosed spaces and different weather conditions.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders if required.
• Successful completion of all basic and recurrency training.
• Effective communication skills in noisy environments.

Job Conditions

• Non-safety sensitive position; medical exam required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in a constant alertness state and operate motorized conveyances.
