Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Full Time Material Handler in Alburtis, PA to join our warehouse team. You’ll work with state of the art equipment in a safe environment and support distribution across the US. Pay is $19.75 per hour with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits beginning after 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two years of related warehouse and powered industrial lift experience required.
• Ability to read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for safety and work instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to input data into computer system.
• Occasional overtime as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions.
• Recognize and correct potential process errors before actions adversely affect the customer.
• Recognize damaged product and take appropriate action when discovered.
• Pull orders accurately as assigned.
• Stage orders according to carrier location and verify quantities.
• Prepare receiving, storage and shipping documentation with product accountability.
• Operate forklift equipment or other warehouse machinery.
