Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Material Handler, Packing to transport, inspect, and pack IV therapies, premixed drugs, renal therapies and other sterile solutions into cartons for distribution in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. PIT and Inspector certifications, basic English, and math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years of age and ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• PIT Operator Certification and Inspector Certification required or ability to obtain.
• Basic English written and oral communication.
• Ability to read work instructions and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Transport sterilized bags using a powered industrial truck to packing lines.
• Inspect batteries on the powered truck and keep the unloader stocked.
• Operate and maintain automated packaging equipment and carton erector.
• Visually inspect bags for defects and log any issues.
• Unpackage product and rein­spect as needed; perform line clearance.
• Support a clean, safe work area following 6S and cGMP standards.
• Carry out duties across rotational and continual tasks as required.
