Material Handler - Packing

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

• Moves materials from packed staging area to shipping and storage area.
• Returns empty pallets to packing area for reuse.
• Performs daily maintenance and inspection of forklift.
• Assist in loading and unloading of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Assist in combing pallets to better utilize warehouse space.
• Keeps assigned work area clean at all times.
• Complete any other related duties required and/or assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Must be able to operate a side loader.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

• High School diploma/GED (minimum)
• Preferred at least 6 months of packing department experience
• Must have at least 1 year of past forklift or mobile equipment experience within a distribution or manufacturing environment
• Good Computer Skills
• Ability to recognize similarities and difference between profiles
