Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Material Handler/Suet Packager on 1st shift in Michigan to support packaging and shipping readiness on the production floor. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, safety-mindedness, and the ability to stand for extended periods.

The position offers a Monday-Thursday schedule with overtime on Fridays, paying $16 per hour. Forklift experience is required and duties include packaging, labeling, palletizing, and material movement to keep production flowing.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is required.
• Ability to follow work instructions and quality checks while on a team line.
• Comfort with repetitive packaging tasks and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to support shipping and material movement throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Pack and inspect suet cakes for bird feeders, verifying packages and labels.
• Place packaged items into boxes, palletize, and prepare for shipping.
• Move materials in and out of the line to maintain production flow.
• Shrink wrap pallets and support shipping readiness.
• Assist in moving scrap to maintain a clean, organized work area.
