Job summary

Bombardier is hiring for an overnight (3rd shift) position at the Hartford Service Center. The role supports warehouse, shipping, and tool crib operations with a focus on inventory control and safe, timely handling of parts.

The job requires 0–2 years in related areas, a valid driver’s license, and basic SAP/Syteline knowledge. Bombardier offers a comprehensive benefits program and flexible work policies where applicable.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years experience in warehouse, shipping or tool crib.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Customer Service experience.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Basic SAP or Syteline knowledge.
• Experience in aviation industry or material handling is a plus.
• Export shipping experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to general work requirements (Factory/Shop/Hanger).
• Follow environmental, health and safety policies; participate in 5-S.
• Receive/inspect incoming/outgoing materials for damage.
• Distribute parts, materials, tools and ground support equipment.
• Verify and reconcile documentation on parts and materials.
• Maintain inventory via cycle counts and perpetual systems.
• Assist in loading/unloading shipments and transporting materials.
• Provide turnovers for oncoming shifts.
• Issue hand tools and rental equipment to authorized personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Overnight (3rd Shift) Schedule Requirement

This position is a permanent overnight (3rd shift) role working from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Candidates must be available to work one of the following schedules:

• 3A Shift: Every other Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday
• 3B Shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday

What are your contributions to the team?

• Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hanger positions)
• Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures. Participate in 5-S activities. Perform all work in a safe and timely manner
• Receive / visually inspect all incoming and outgoing materials for physical damage (BAS Only)
• Distribute parts, materials, tools and ground support equipment with regard to aircraft delivery schedules. May assist in ordering parts if required (BAS only)
• Verify and reconcile appropriate documentation on incoming and outgoing parts and materials
• Maintain accurate inventory (via cycle counts, perpetual, work-in-progress) using computerized / manual systems to include purchased parts, manufactured parts, materials, tools, etc.
• Assist in loading / unloading shipments
• Transport and stock materials from one location to another as required throughout the facility
• Provide verbal or written turnovers for oncoming shifts
• Issue hand tools, machine tools, dies and / or rental equipment to authorized personnel
• Perform other duties as assigned

How to thrive in this role?

• Basic knowledge of SAP (or Syteline for Commercial)
• Previous experience in the aviation industry
• Previous experience in material handling
• Export shipping experience
