Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking a Material Handler at our Dallas Service Center. You will adhere to work requirements, inspect incoming and outgoing materials, and manage parts distribution aligned with delivery schedules.

Strong inventory discipline and familiarity with SAP/Syteline and Microsoft Office are desired. Candidates should have 0–2 years in warehouse or shipping roles, a valid driver’s license, forklift experience, and exposure to aviation logistics.

• Comply with environmental health/safety policies; participate in 5-S.
• Receive/visually inspect incoming/outgoing materials for damage.
• Distribute parts, materials, tools and ground support equipment with regard to delivery schedules.
• Verify and reconcile documentation on incoming and outgoing parts.
• Maintain inventory using computerized/manual systems.
• Assist in loading/unloading shipments.
• Transport and stock materials between locations.
• Provide turnovers for oncoming shifts.
• Issue hand tools, machine tools, dies and rental equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements.
• Comply with environmental health/safety policies/procedures. Participate in 5-S activities.
• Receive/visually inspect all incoming and outgoing materials for physical damage.
• Distribute parts, materials, tools and ground support equipment with regard to aircraft delivery schedules. May assist in ordering parts, if required.
• Verify and reconcile appropriate documentation on incoming and outgoing parts and materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory (via cycle counts, perpetual, work-in-progress) using computerized/manual systems to include purchased parts, manufactured parts, materials, tools, ect..
• Assist in loading/unloading shipments.
• Transport and stock materials from one location to another, as required through the facility.
• Provide verbal, or written, turnovers for oncoming shifts.
• Issue hand tools, machine tools, dies and/or rental equipment to authorized personnel.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

How to thrive in this role?

• You will have 0-2 years’ experience in one of the following:
  • Warehouse
  • Shipping / Receiving
  • Tool Crib
• You have a valid Driver’s License
• You have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• You have basic knowledge of SAP, or Syteline
• You have previous experience in the aviation industry
• You have previous experience in material handling
• You have previous Forklift experience
• You have export shipping experience
• You have had HAZMAT training
