Job Requirements

1. Work with Production Coordinator to plan the most efficient cut schedule and material needs.
2. Select materials (Steel sheets and Plates) and use an overhead crane to load and unload materials from flame and plasma tables.
3. Unload materials upon arrival from vendors and check them into inventory.
4. Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment.
5. Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
6. Guide loads being lifted to prevent swinging.
7. Attach slings, hooks, or other devices to lift cargo and guide loads.

Other Experience and Qualifications

• Overhead Crane Experience is a MUST.
• Use of tape measure, micrometer.
• Lifting of parts weighing 50 lbs or less.
• Blue print reading.
• Forklift operations.
• Strong basic Math skills.
