Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a warehouse associate to support material organization, receiving, storage and distribution in a fast-paced environment.

You will move materials, prepare orders, assemble shipments, and maintain cleanliness and safety across the work area. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and basic physical and reading skills, with opportunities to grow within a global logistics leader.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Less than one year related experience.
• Skills: Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds; Abilityto climb ladders; Good or corrected vision; Ability to add andsubtract.
• Characteristics: Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds; Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents; Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Manage material organization by moving materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Coordinate receipt, storage and distribution of materials, tools equipment, and products within assigned area.
• Monitor area cleanliness by ensuring floors are swept, dock area is clean and maintaining general good hygiene of entire work area.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets / shelves, move orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Open bales, crates and other containers.
• May operate manual hand tools.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
