Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a Material Handler III / Operations team lead for the 2nd shift in Millington, TN. You will supervise daily warehouse activities, coordinate loading and unloading, and ensure accuracy in labeling, packing and order fulfillment.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification within 3–6 months, and the ability to operate hand tools and warehouse software. Join a global logistics leader for growth and development.

YOUR ROLE

Responsible for leading team members in area in daily activities, communicating issues with supervisor, assigning tasks to team members and maintaining seamless operations in the warehouse. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Serve as the lead todistributework assignments and daily activities to team members.

Follow and ensure quality standards are adhered to.

Post the performance numbers forarea.

Organize loading and unloading of products.

Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.

Ensure the properlabelling,taggingand packing of goods and materials inassignedarea.

Assistin receiving cargo by removing from truck by hand or using manual equipment such as hand truck or pallet jack or similar manual hand tools.

Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or move orders to packing station or shipping department.

Open bales,cratesand other containers.

Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predeterminedsequencesuch as size, type, style,coloror product code.

Comply withlegal procedures for handling and receiving goods.

Perform other duties as assigned.

WHATARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GED;Typically,at leastfiveyears of warehousing or relatedlogisticsexperience.

Credentials:Forklift Certification typicallyrequiredin most operations within 3 to 6 months of hire; Valid state issued driver’s license preferred.

Skills:Ability tooperatehand and power tools, including hand truck, pallet jack, and related warehouse equipment;Basicproficiencyin Internet, web-based and job specific software applications;Ability to become forklift certified, when required.

Characteristics:Ability to prioritize and assign work and provide training and guidance to staff; Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs; Ability to perform in a team environment.Ability to read,comprehendand complete basic checklists,formsor other related documents
