Material Handler - ONeal Manufacturing Services (2nd Shift Painter)

Position Summary

The Material Handler may operate forklifts, load trucks, unload and receive parts, pull stock, drive Yard Dogs, clean parts, assemble products or kits, and generally clean the work area.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Handle shipping/receiving tasks including receiving inbound inventory, storing materials, pulling inventory for orders, and loading trucks for outbound shipments.
• Operate material handling equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, and cranes to move materials within the premises.
• Clean parts using hand/pedestal grinders or other equipment, and move materials as needed.
• Provide error-free work to internal and external customers.
• Work under direct supervision.
• Support safety and quality programs by following all rules and procedures.
• Mix paints and operate paint guns, both conventional and airless.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

• Basic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to mix paints and operate paint guns (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to operate forklifts and cranes.
• Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, grinders, and banders.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Knowledge of standard practices and procedures, following instructions and guidelines.
• Ability to use measuring tools like calipers and micrometers (preferred).
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
