Primary Responsibilities: Handling transfer processes related to unloading/loading trailers, put away, audits, scanning, layout compliance, wrapping, stacking, damaged product collection, labeling, and related inventory and housekeeping tasks.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in shipping and receiving operations as instructed.
  • Maintain procedures and record updates.
  • Safely load and unload trailers following safety policies.
  • Verify pallets for labeling and discrepancies, resolving issues or escalating as needed.
  • Restack fallen pallets.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and report issues.
  • Follow instructions and notify supervisors of problems.
  • Inspect and record shipments from vendors.
  • Adapt to new procedures and innovations.
  • Perform daily forklift checks and routine maintenance.
  • Maintain order in warehouse storage areas.
  • Store like items together, allowing only one partial pallet per item.
  • Train new or existing employees on safety and policies if required.
  • Perform daily housekeeping as per policy.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use software.

Language Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English clearly.

Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday nights (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM).

Location: Warehouse / DC - 3480 Amnicola Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37406.
