Job description

JOB DETAILS

Base pay rate is $17.50 plus $1.00 shift differential.

Night shift starts at 6:00 pm.

The shifts are 8, 10, and 12 hours long depending on work orders and season.

Position may involve operating forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment. Other areas include crate/production assembly.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide customer‑responsive and efficient manufacturing support activities.
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, on time and without damage.
• Assist co‑workers and customers.
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management activities, including daily updates to the ERP system.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Maintain a steady flow of materials and resources to production workstations.
• Assist in movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas.
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of related work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to become certified to operate forklift, overhead crane, yard mule, and side loaders.
• Ability to work in a non‑temperature‑controlled environment.
• Experience with side forklift, bander, nail gun, overhead crane, saws, stretch wrap machine, and various pneumatic equipment is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continuously, up to shoulder height and below the waist.
• Good attitude and team oriented.
• Valid driver’s license.
