Gulf Island is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to safely move, store, and distribute materials to support production schedules in a manufacturing setting. You will work with forklifts, pallet jacks, and inventory systems to maintain accuracy and organization.
Responsibilities include receiving and staging materials, coordinating with production, and ensuring timely delivery to lines while following safety protocols.
The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient handling, movement, storage and distribution of raw materials, components and finished products within the warehouse. This role ensures that production teams have the necessary materials to meet production schedules while maintaining inventory accuracy and following safety protocols.
80 to 90% of the work activities are performed outdoors. Individuals will be required to work in changes of temperature, hot, cold, humid, wet and dry conditions, dust, mud etc. They will also be exposed to paint thinner and paint fumes.
