Job summary

Itape in Chicago is seeking a Material Handler to move supplies through the plant and support production lines. You will use powered industrial trucks, organize work areas, and stage finished products under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years manufacturing experience including PIT operation, and the ability to stand for long shifts while lifting up to 50 lbs. Strong basic computer and math skills, plus solid English communication, are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years manufacturing experience including PIT experience.
• Licensed PIT operator under IPG protocols.
• Ability to meet objectives with minimum supervision.
• Basic computer, math, and English written skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to stand/walk up to 12 hours.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs continuously.

Responsibilities

Title: Material Handler

Status: Hourly Non-Exempt

Shift: 7 PM - 7:15 AM

Position Purpose: The Material Handler moves supplies throughout the plant.

Principle Accountabilities

• Utilizing powered industrial trucks, moves raw materials to the production lines, organizes assigned work area, and stages finished product as per instructions from supervisor.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Licensed for Powered Industrial Truck usage under IPG protocols.
• Must have the ability to meet objectives with minimum supervision.
