Job summary

Technimark in Asheville, North Carolina, is seeking a Back Up Material Handler. The ideal candidate will ensure that raw materials are always ready for production and assist in the change over process. Responsibilities include unloading material, cleaning equipment, and maintaining documentation.

Candidates must have knowledge of injection molding, basic computer skills, and a valid TM forklift license with at least 3 months of experience in a similar position.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and speak English proficiently.
• General knowledge in injection molding.
• Valid TM assigned forklift license required.
• Minimum of 3 months experience in a Back Up Material Handler position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure raw material is ready for production.
• Assist in the change over process.
• Unload, clean, and reload material hoppers.
• Transport materials to and from production area.
• Clean grinders, color feeders, and related equipment.
• Maintain documentation relating to material systems.
• Perform daily color checks and document them.
• Clean and maintain loader system vacuum pumps.
• Document PM’s to equipment in Maximo.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Identify and weigh raw materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Maintain 100% classroom training as required.

• Responsible for unloading, cleaning, and reloading of material hoppers.
• Responsible for transporting material to and from production area and warehouse.
• Ensure that grinders, color feeders, and other related equipment is cleaned.
• Maintain appropriate documentation relating to material system.
• Perform daily color checks and document in color LDR book.
• Clean and maintain loader system vacuum pumps, filters and mixer rooms.
• Document PM’s to equipment in Maximo.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Responsible for identifying and weighing raw materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Maintain 100% classroom training as required.
