Job summary

Golden Pet Manufacturing seeks a Production Operator to ensure orders are packed accurately and ready for shipment. The role covers inventory control, cycle counting, and verification of material quantities against records.

You will also be responsible for warehouse equipment, including safe use of fork trucks and related documentation, in a cooled production environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work well both individually and within a group.
• Able & willing to work all shifts/schedules as needed.
• Lift to 60 pounds, climb stairs, kneel, stoop, sit, walk extensively during long shifts.
• Work indoors in a cooled sanitary environment with temperatures 45°F or below.
• Frequently around loud production equipment.

Production Operator

Location:

Seward, NE

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Responsible for ensuring all customer sales orders are accurately packaged and ready to ship.
• Responsible for Inventory Control. Compares bill of lading to ensure precise amounts of materials are received. Ensures raw material counts match inventory reported in the systems. Conducts Cycle Counting of inventory and meets shipping dates.
• Accountable for warehouse equipment and documentation. Responsible for the proper use, care, of all fork trucks and equipment used.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work well both individually and within a group.
• Able & willing to work all shifts/schedules as needed
• Lift to 60 pounds, climb stairs, kneel, stoop, sit, walk extensively throughout a 10 - 12-hour shift
• This position will be required to work frequently indoors in a cooled sanitary environment with temperatures 45 degrees or below.
• Frequently around loud production equipment.
