Job summary

Golden Pet Manufacturing in Seward, NE is seeking a Production Operator to ensure orders are packaged correctly and shipped on time. The role also covers inventory control, bill of lading verification, and cycle counting to keep stock accurate.

Additionally, you will manage warehouse equipment and fork trucks, maintain a sanitary, cooled environment, and support the smooth flow of production through varying shifts. Lift requirements may reach 60 pounds and extended walking.

We’re Looking For A(n): Production Operator

Location: Seward, NE

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Responsible for ensuring all customer sales orders are accurately packaged and ready to ship.
• Responsible for Inventory Control. Compares bill of lading to ensure precise amounts of materials are received. Ensures raw material counts match inventory reported in the systems. Conducts Cycle Counting of inventory and meets shipping dates.
• Accountable for warehouse equipment and documentation. Responsible for the proper use, care, of all fork trucks and equipment used.

Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.)

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work well both individually and within a group.
• Able & willing to work all shifts/schedules as needed
• Lift to 60 pounds, climb stairs, kneel, stoop, sit, walk extensively throughout a 10 - 12-hour shift
• This position will be required to work frequently indoors in a cooled sanitary environment with temperatures 45 degrees or below.
• Frequently around loud production equipment.
