Position : Material Handler - 1st Shift - Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:45 pm - No Weekends!

Compensation : $17.25/hour

Position Summary

Responsible for tasks ensuring the smooth, timely, and accurate flow of materials and products for selection and shipment within the distribution center. Tasks include retrieving, inspecting, and preparing materials for shipment or storage, including operating a cherry picker/order platform picker.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Retrieve empty pallets, boxes, totes, and trash as needed.
2. Sort and locate materials on the floor and in surplus locations.
3. Fulfill customer and inter-warehouse orders by retrieving and counting products.
4. Operate power industrial lift equipment safely and maintain the equipment.
5. Complete order paperwork accurately and promptly.
6. Wrap and weigh pallets using stretch wrappers.
7. Use RF scanners to scan orders and pallet license plates.
8. Participate in housekeeping and inventory activities.

Position Requirements

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Ability to operate all power industrial lift trucks and pass licensing requirements.
3. Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
4. Ability to perform basic math functions.
5. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
