Job summary

MicroCare, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler in Commerce City, CO, with a 7am–3:30pm schedule, Monday–Friday. The role focuses on efficient material transport, accurate receiving, and ERP data entry to support on-time production.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in data entry accuracy and detail.
• Forklift certified; able to operate hand trucks, carts and dollies.
• Computer proficient with ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Verify items and quantities on incoming shipment packing slips and receive against open PO’s or ERP transfers.
• Receive, distribute and store materials in designated locations.
• Notify Inspection Team with first article of inspection for incoming material; review documents for accuracy and file after acceptance.
• Ensure correct labels on inbound materials for Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Follow FIFO principles to ensure proper use of inventory.
• Prepare and verify pallets for transfer to the Logistics Center, properly wrapped and labeled.
• Enter transfer details into ERP Chempax when driver is unavailable.
• Communicate urgency of material needs and expedite transfers affecting production schedule.
• Notify Procurement of raw material arrivals and inform Quality on RGAs.
• Verify inventory through weekly cycle counts and yearly physical inventory.
• Serve as main contact for Production Team for material locations.
• Assist Shipping Team with order fulfillment as needed.
• Collect and properly dispose of scrap and maintain a safe, clean workplace.
• Promote incident-free workplace by adhering to safety policies and trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
