Job summary

KASAI NORTH AMERICA is seeking a warehouse associate to store, record and ship component parts or finished goods to customers and other destinations. You will follow written and verbal instructions and support multiple departments in daily operations.

The role requires forklift experience, reliable math skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. You will work in a team to meet quality and quantity targets and maintain clean, safe work areas in line with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Verify outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices and orders by counting, weighing and measuring.
• Pull, unpack, inspect shipments; record damages and shortages.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Receive orders from Production Control and fill those orders for shipment.
• Meet established quality and quantity targets; maintain housekeeping and safe work practices.
• Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies.

Job description

Performs routine duties required to store, record and ship component parts or finished goods to customers and other destinations as required. Performs a variety of activities requiring communication and support to other departments and performs other work related activities as required.

Responsibilities:

• Compares identification and counts, weighs and measures items of outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders and records.
• Pulls, unpacks and examines outgoing shipments, records damaged items, reports damages and shortages.
• May operate forklifts, hand trucks, hoists, cranes or other material handling equipment.
• Receives orders from Production Control and is responsible for filling those orders for shipment.
• Responsible for meeting established quality and quantity levels of work assigned, housekeeping and safe work practices.
• Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies.
