Position Description

We're seeking a full-time, staff Material Handler, MC to join our team in Charlotte, NC. Material handlers play a vital role in daily operations by moving inventory, tools, and supplies safely from warehouses to various sites. Your role will ensure the safe and timely delivery of materials, coordinate with tooling specialists, and focus on efficiency and accuracy. If you demonstrate strong leadership, time management, and motivation, you might be the right fit.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, confirm, track, store, dispatch, and deliver materials.
  • Lift and unload heavy pallets using hand tools, equipment, and forklifts.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure safety practices are followed.
  • Perform quality inspections and ensure orders meet standards.
  • Maintain inventory records, crosscheck invoices, and handle logistical inquiries.
Skills Needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand and walk continuously, perform physical tasks.
  • Experience with forklift, pallet jack, heavy equipment operation.
  • Understanding of safety inspections and basic supply chain logistics.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Basic computer skills (preferred).
  • Good math, communication skills, and teamwork.
  • Background and drug screening clearance.

The salary range for this role is $40,160 - $60,240, depending on experience and location.
