Job summary

Innovative Controls Inc. in East Pittsburgh, PA is hiring a full-time Warehouse/Materials Handler to stock and move parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will support production by delivering materials and assisting shipping, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The role requires 1–2 years in manufacturing, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and basic math and computer literacy for inventory tracking. Health benefits, 401(k), PTO and holidays are offered.

Qualifications

• Standing, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing or factory experience.
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. shift.
• Attentive to detail and basic math; able to use inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Supply production lines with raw materials and parts; load/unload and ship.
• Operate forklifts to move materials between warehouse areas.
• Verify incoming stock against packing slips for accuracy and damage.
• Unpack, log, and track inventory movements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.

Job Type: Full-time, Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Pay Rate: $17.50 – $21.00 Hourly

Key Responsibilities:

• Supply production lines with raw materials and parts; transport goods from production to staging/shipping; support shipping department in all aspects of shipping.
• Operate forklifts safely to load/unload trucks and to move materials within the warehouse and departments spaces.
• Verify incoming stock against packing slips for accuracy and damage.
• Unpack parts for stock; log inventory movements; record inventory data.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area.

Minimum Skills, Experience, Training, and Job Requirements:

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift 50 lbs. consistently in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or factory setting.
• Ability to work a consistent Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. shift.
• Strong attention to detail and basic mathematic skills and computer literacy for inventory tracking.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.
